Who Am I?
Hi. I’m Alison: a she/her, mom, wife, daughter and student of life. A decade ago I decided to follow my passion of photography to receive my bachelor’s in photojournalism and documentary journalism while a single mother.
Since then I’ve met the love of my life, had another kid and have been working odd jobs like blackjack dealer and fireplace salesperson trying to figure out what exactly it means to be “successful”. I checked all the boxes but something was still missing.
A decade (and a global pandemic) really put things into perspective for me. In September 2022 I threw in the towel on what looked like a successful life to finally pursue my dreams of being a stay at home mom (before my kids leave me!) and a photographer and writer. I’m humbled to be able to tell your story.
